Which One Did We Actually Keep?

How we tested them

Parent Tip

We tracked feel, control, power, how much my son complained, and what his coach said. The last two were probably the most useful data points.

The Babolat Pure Drive Junior 26

The Wilson Blade 26 Junior

OUR HONEST CONCLUSION

We kept the Wilson Blade 26. Our son’s coach recommended it, his consistency improved, and after the adjustment period he stopped noticing the difference. The Babolat Pure Drive Junior is a genuinely good racket — if your kid is a natural power hitter or slightly older and stronger, it could be the better fit. For a mid-level 11-year-old still developing technique, the Blade won out.
